Sunset Tropics

Free WordPress Theme

This theme has a black background with high contrast text and header. There are no borders so the header and background blend seemlessly.

Fixed width of 900px.

Two right sided sidebars.

Widget ready and room for plenty of them.

Personal blogging theme ready for your content. Since this theme has no Nav Bar or Menu bar to choose your pages, we use a Plugin called Simple Sidebar Navigation and this lets us display not only our own internal pages but also lets you include external pages.

Sunset Tropics Ver. 2

The same basic theme as above but it includes a Drop Down Menu Bar and Outlined sheet and widget boxes.

Gives it a completely different look.

So take your pick.

Take note that when using this version you should keep your widget titles small so they don’t over run the widget box and don’t use the calendar.  It doen’t fit since the sidebars are narrow.

This version also includes a new theme option in the dashboard for editing the footer text or links or whatever you want to put in there.

Sunset Coast and Sunset Pines

Two more WordPress themes that we’ve added to our Free Themes collection.  A couple more personal blog styled themes with pretty sunset headers. They are nicely styled for personal blogging with a Page Nav Bar at the top that includes drop downs and widget ready sidebar.

Here’s how to use the Genki Announcement Plugin to display an annoucement or ad on the front page of these themes.

Here are three variations of the same basic theme.  Different header and color scheme for three different looks. Drop down Nav Bar at the top and right sided, widget ready sidebar.  800px fixed width and a cute RSS Button in footer.
