A new version of WordPress was released yesterday to correct a problem where logged in users can peek at trashed posts belonging to other authors. If you have untrusted users signed up on your blog and sensitive posts in the trash, you should upgrade.

WordPress was made pretty secure with the release of version 2.8.4. This new version is called a “hardening release”. It re-addresses the previous security issues and a couple of other things that needed tightening.
