Beware of email from UPS
If you get an email from United Parcel Service notifying you of a delivery DO NOT Open the attachment! It’s probably a nasty bit of MalWare that will make a mess of your Windows computer. It has been circulating for a little while now and is on a roll right now. Some anti-virus and anti-malware software will catch this but better to be safe and just delete the email. This is not how UPS notifies people. The other clues to realizing this is a bogus email is the bad grammar and spelling. This attack has already duped many people so don’t take a chance and just delete it.
Now, if you already infected yourself the best advise is to use system restore and restore to an earlier date. Here’s some more on the topic.
