WordPress 2.8 is about to be released.  A release candidate version is available now for download and I believe they say that an official release may be this Wednesday.  We are already running the 2.8 beta and all of the changes to the dashboard functionality are very nice.  So get ready to see an upgrade available in your dashboard.  Check it out more at www.wordpress.org .
